Resources for PTA / PTO

For PTA leaders and community councils, Safe Routes Utah provides a comprehensive toolkit designed to turn safety advocacy into school-wide engagement. As the bridge between parents and school administration, the PTA plays a critical role in transforming “the way we’ve always done it” into a culture of active, healthy, and safe transportation. Our resources empower you to lead high-impact initiatives, from coordinating a “Walking School Bus” in your neighborhood to hosting “Walk & Roll” assemblies that energize students and decrease the dangerous congestion of the morning car line. By leveraging our ready-made educational materials, safety checklists, and incentive programs, your PTA can directly influence student wellness, improve local air quality, and help ensure that every child has a secure path to the classroom.
